About svenskpass
svenskpass is an independent Swedish citizenship test preparation platform. We help people who are applying for Swedish citizenship practise the knowledge, format and pace of medborgarskapsprovet through realistic questions, full mock exams and topic-based training.
What we do
We build practice material around the civic knowledge the test covers: democracy and the Riksdag, municipalities and regions, law and rights, history, the economy, welfare, and Sweden's place in the EU and the world. Every question comes with a short explanation in Swedish, and progress tracking shows which topics need more work.
The platform also helps people who are still learning Swedish, with simplified wording and explanations of civic terms, because the real test is written in Swedish.
How our material is written
Questions are written by us based on publicly available material about Swedish society, including official sources such as riksdagen.se, regeringen.se, domstol.se and skatteverket.se. Each question has one unambiguous correct answer, four plausible alternatives, an explanation, and an internal source reference. Material is reviewed and updated when official information changes.
We are independent
svenskpass is not affiliated with UHR, Migrationsverket, the Swedish government or any other Swedish government authority, and is not endorsed by them. We do not have access to the official test questions, and we cannot book tests, decide applications or give legal advice.
